United has round-trip “Basic Economy” flights from Chicago (ORD) to Punta Cana (PUJ) for $326, NONSTOP. Flights sparse and scattered from December to February. Most itineraries require a 9-day minimum stay. “Regular Economy” is available for +$25 each-way. No Christmas/NYE.

Note: United’s “Basic Economy” fares do not include a free carry-on bag. Only a tiny personal item is free. United’s personal item allowance of (9in x 10in x 17in) is smaller than most other airlines. Seats are randomly assigned prior to boarding.
