THIS DEAL HAS EXPIRED. We are leaving the expired details on this page as a reference for comparison for future deals.

The welcome bonus for the United Business Card is now 100,000 MileagePlus after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of being approved for the card. This card has an annual fee of $99. APR: (Loading APR Value).

This is a business card, but you can apply for this card as a sole proprietor. If this is the case for you, then use your personal social security number when applying instead of your Business EIN. If you don’t have a DBA, use your real name as the business name.

We’re recommending this card now because the 100,000 bonus is much higher than the previous 50,000 and 75,000 mile offerings that we’ve seen over the past 12-months.

The United℠ Business Card has the following bonus earning categories:

  • Earn 2x on United® purchases, restaurants, gas stations, office supply stores, and on local transit and commuting.
  • Earn 1x on all other purchases.

The United℠ Business Card has the following perks:

  • Earn a $100 United® travel credit after 7 United flight purchases of $100 or more each anniversary year.
  • Your first standard checked-bag for you and your companion is free on flights operated by United (terms apply).
  • Earn 2 United Club℠ one-time passes per year.
  • The primary Cardmember and companions on the same reservation will be invited to board United-operated flights prior to general boarding.
  • Earn 25 PQP for every $500 you spend on purchases with your UnitedSM Business Card (up to 1,000 PQP in a calendar year) that can be applied toward your Premier status qualification, up to and including the Premier 1K® level.

There are a few things to point out about this deal:

  • This bonus offer is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.
  • You can apply for this card if you run a business as Sole proprietor. If this is the case for you, then use your personal social security number when applying instead of your Business EIN. If you don’t have a DBA, use your real name as the business name.
  • Historically, we haven’t seen any offers higher than 100,000 in the past year.
  • With Chase, you are likely to be denied if you have opened 5 or more cards with ANY bank within the past 24 months. Chase business cards don’t count towards the 5 card rule, but if you try to apply for one after you have opened 5 or more cards, you will likely be denied. If you are planning to apply for multiple cards, you should consider opening Chase business cards first, then Chase personal cards, and finally any other cards with any other bank.
  • Avoid applying for two or more Chase cards per month. Doing so increases your risk of being denied.
  • This card has an annual fee of $99.
  • APR: (Loading APR Value).
  • If you get denied and you have good credit, call their reconsideration hotline: 1-888-270-2127 or 888-609-7805. Calling may not change the outcome, but there is a chance it will. You’ll also be able to get better insight in why your application was denied. Keep in mind that you will likely have to answer details about how your business operates and how it earns income.
  • After submitting your application you can check your application status at: 1-800-453-9719.
